Arsenal are keeping tabs on Atlético Madrid winger Álex Baena, according to TEAMtalk. The Gunners are exploring the market for a top option to play on the left flank.
An offer worth €80 million is expected to be required to secure the transfer of the 25-year-old, TEAMtalk reports. Arsenal could face competition from Bayern Munich for Baena.
The winger has scored five goals and provided three assists in 11 LaLiga matches this season. TEAMtalk reports that Arsenal could raise funds for a move with the exit of midfielder Martín Zubimendi, amid interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The 27-year-old has struggled to start regularly since the arrival of Bruno Guimarães. Arsenal would want a fee around the €60 million they parted with to land Zubimendi from Real Sociedad in July 2025. There has been no confirmation from Arsenal, Atlético Madrid or the player.
